This was from the Model B16 but may have been used on later models

The gear cogs slips or breaks its a very very common problem mainly caused by using old sticky tape or using studio thicker tape the R8 was designed to use the thinner tape for home use

when teh heads are brand new they have an all over plating

I paid a hefty 3 figure sum to obtain a mint one

Fostex D-10 regulator pcb 8251912 103 This was from the ModelPCB from the above machine, nice and clean. easy to replace. I have noted that these regulators get warm, a little too warm as for me, if it was my machine, I would change them from 1 amp to 2 amp versions.
