Mid-Century Table- or Desk-Lamp by Charlotte Perriand for Philips, 1950s Silver made by a German engineerModernist desk Lamp made of one cut & bent sheet of metal, a very innovative design solution imagined by Charlotte Perriand for Philips. This lamp uses a special tubular incandescent light bulb. The same type of bulb has also been used by Gerrit Rietveld in his 1920s hanging lamp. The lamp comes with a bulb in working order. These can still been bought today. The lamp has been repainted in its original colour and retains all of it's original hardware
