A favorite is Bar de la Croix Rouge, perfectly located just close enough to the Bon March and chic boutiques of the 7th to make it the perfect post spree landing spot. (It's also the one place in Paris where I've bumped into a certain beloved cookbook author and her darling husband.) Last spring, we were favored with perfect
