Victorian Harlequin Multigem Fringe Necklace georgian An ornate 18th century GeorgianDATE: Victorian, c. 1900 A fantastic late Victorian harlequin fringe necklace set with a colourful array of faceted gemstones. It dates from the Victorian period, circa 1900, the stones arranged in a series of articulated drops, graduated towards the middle point. Stones including: Mixed coloured sapphires, Amethyst, Citrine and Peridot and Garnet. Suspended from a fine yellow gold chain. The name "harlequin" has long been used to describe jewellery
