Fostex R8 capstan gear motor RF-370C-15370 its an old board nowThere are 4 motors in the Fostex R8 two for the FF and REW one for the main capstan and this little one which engages the capstan gears and lifts the tape lifter, it has a small white cog on the end and a yellow connector. I have seen these go wrong..
