Opening ceremony of the new London Bridge Doyle The church acted as aOpening ceremony of the new London Bridge, 1831. The bridge was officially opened by King William IV and Queen Adelaide. In the foreground there are decorated barges on the River Thames packed full of figures and on the north bank crowds have gathered to watch the celebrations.
