Le Chou-Fleur June let’s face it the CistineThis was drawn as a still life, the local market throughout the seasons always has bounteous offerings. This wonderful specimen filled our large Italian salad bowl. Drawing this was fun, I enjoyed looking at the incredible range of whites and shadows the florets made. The huddle of green leaves that seemed to nestle the flower itself. This is drawn on mixed media paper in Shuttleart alcohol markers which I have discovered are so liberating to use.
