This is a Spring 2013 harvested purple tea (Zi Ya type purple) from Jinggu County in Simao

The tea trees have 80-200 years of age and are growing naturally

The tea trees are growing naturally and no pesticides or artificial fertilizers are used

and then the bricks are dried gradually using a temperature of 37C which preserves and gradually halts the spread of the flowers without damaging them or the tea leaves

It's a hybrid of local Feng Qing Taliensis and Assamica

This large gaiwan (330ml) is perfect if you want to make tea for 3 to 5 people at a time! Can be seasoned and dedicated for one type of tea (see our seasoning video here), or if you prefer you can brew any type of tea in there (just make sure to rinse well with hot water in between uses).
