they have a really lovely look and feel and would make great meters for an old school audio project

I guess you could probably get modern parts a lot smaller and mount them in the can but i have not seen these go wrong unlike in the REVOX units

This motor was from a Tascam 144 later model 12 volt ( before they used 15 )and may be used in other machines of this period an many different manufactures

Odd thing is have a B-16 that does not have a hande so seems there are at least two variants of the B-16
