This is a 2 ply laceweight yarn. These were dyed using speckling only in a wet pot, so there is a LOT of bleed through and smudging. I used copper brown, dark brown, tawny brown and caramel. There are occasional tinges of pink and green from some of the browns breaking. These are highly variegated and each is different please alternate hanks if using more than one. Silky, hazy,
