Victorian although the back of this6th plate, early 1860s tintype of a photographer in his work coat, with his hat in his lap. This was out of a Washington State estate; he is unidentified but it's possible he had a studio in that area of the US, or the west coast. Tintype is behind mat and cover glass in full case, with taped spine. It's in overall very good antique condition with a few small mat abrasions.
