This unit is mounted on the rear of one of the motor assemblies and the little sensor dies

TASCAM DA-38  front panel with all switches working (mains switch not included)

This is the Capstan solenoid from a Tascam TSR 8 they are very powerful and used to engage the pinch wheel

These have been reset so face is new these were from a Tascam 38 they maybe the same in all of the 30 series I can check but the pins are 40mm high

I have the larger one thats seen on the 32 34 38 and also a smaller one thats used around the capstan on some models that do not have a capstan cover
