Traditional Arran single malt was aged in oak casks for 8 years before a finishing period in ex Sauternes, sweet wine casks. The Bordeaux sweet wine casks were carefully selected by Lochranza's master distiller to ensure a perfect marriage between the whisky and the imparted wine notes. Aromas of marzipan, fruit, banana, honeysuckle and melon are complemented by a palate of delicate honey and spice.
