they do not have to be centred on the hub they are full width and based on the later Tascam Teac units
If you are using old Ampex tapes etc this tape is now long past its deadline and suffers from SSS

Tascam roller cap. mystery Good condition Front panel theI wish someone could tell me where these are from, I have some rollers that were from the X series but they are different , these roller have an over hang, so it could be a 32 34. but I have others that have an overhang as well and a raised part inside these do not. I decided to list these and hopefully I can get some feed back, maybe its an X series smaller machine Dimension are about 27mm wide and they have a deeper groove than others
