Over time, the stock bushings can go bad and cause the roller to make increasing noise and eventually stop turning correctly. These are made of a glass reinforced resin to never need replaced again. Installation is straightforward once the sweeper is opened up. Simply remove the old bushing and slide the replacement into the groove shown.
