The channel panels (8 of them) are to stop dust getting in and need removing when setting up the machine

I have now seen 3 different pulleys used on the 22-2 so be careful when buying belts as sometimes people  write belt by model and not size so you could end up with the wrong belt

There seems to be two types one with a hole in the centre one without but it does not effect the units
