Quince Three May I really love the soundThe painting of this charming fruit after so many charcoal and ink drawing of quinces was invigorating. It was fun to layer up the colours and feel the emerging shape, almost like a women in Reubens painting it seemed to me. or perhaps the rotund figures of the legal profession depicted by Daumier.
