Kaiyō Cask Strength Japanese Whisky Islay Whisky A blend of toasted oakKaiy Cask Strength is an independently bottled Japanese whisky with a remarkable story. Kaiy Cask Strength is a teaspooned malt, distilled at a single distillery but with a very small amount of malt from another distillery added to the final product. However, while this whisky was distilled and aged in Japan, it cannot technically be called 'Japanese whisky.' This expression first ages in Mizunara oak casks in an abandoned railway tunnel, then the
