An ornate design surrounds the rectangle mirror which is held up by a folding kickstand on the back. Its a heavy piece, in very good condition and sits horizontally. The mirror itself is in nice condition with a few very tiny scratches and held in place with removable brackets. You could remove the mirror and place a piece of art or photo in the frame if you wished. Very pretty for a vanity
