and well-balanced with fine depth and classic Médoc character
slowly giving way to notions of warm black cherries
It incorporates fruit from all four estate vineyards: The Third Twin (43%)
so that it's not reflected in the ripeness but is more a matter of texture and quality of the tannins
balanced by fresh acidity and beautiful minerality
Château Margaux Premier Cru Classé, Margaux, 2009, 75cl 3-set and well-balanced with fine depthThe 2009 Chteau Margaux is deep garnet in color and features wonderfully fragrant minted cassis, lilacs, Black Forest cake and oolong tea scents with touches of pencil shavings and dusty soil. Medium to full bodied, it has a firm, grainy frame with lovely freshness lifting the perfumed fruit to a very long, mineral laced finish.
