The glass appears in the factory's catalogue from 1853 and is described as having been sold undecorated

but this vine leaf decoration ceased in the 1860s and was one of three versions

Silver was in short supply during World War II, so the cutlery was made of steel, as Georg Jensen's first item. There have been close to 100 different parts in the production of this cutlery. The handle of the cutlery is shaped like a Catholic bishop's hat, a mitre, hence the name. Nice used condition.
