De naam Doss verwijst naar een kleine heuvel bij Cortina sulla Strada del Vino, een bijzonder gebied dat vroeger regelmatig onder water stond en daardoor ook wel het Kleine Veneti werd genoemd. De wijn combineert rijp geel fruit, frisse zuren, romigheid en een elegante kruidigheid.
