Nile Rodgers produced once again; the album draws on soul, jazz and electronic dance music and was partly inspired by Bowie's marriage to Iman, which echoes through "The Wedding". The single "Jump They Say" refers to his late half brother Terry, and trumpeter Lester Bowie pulls the record towards jazz. The
