Robert John "Mutt" Lange produced, building a tightly layered hard rock sound out of endless overdubs; during the sessions Phil Collen replaced guitarist Pete Willis. Photograph, Rock of Ages, Foolin' and Too Late for Love were released as singles, and the video for Photograph was played to death in MTV's early years.
