I love the red lining that gives another bright flash of color when you move

Finding the perfect little fifties printed sun dress in that crisp 50s cotton is such a treat

This gives the dress an almost alive feel as the wearer moves and catches the light

The bodice has an amazing draped and gathered effect

With out the skirt it has a more formal feel and once the skirt is added it really has that  draped

I believe this may be from that same season and was most likely a custom piece. The fabric is a bias cut, gold & blue metallic lame silk and is extremely light in weight so moves amazingly and feel wonderful when on.
