This is a true period piece and not a new reproduction. These were made from crochet booklets along with matching purses. This one is heavy cotton gimp yarn in a cream and light rust shade. It has a turned up brim, high pointed crown and two turned up pieces in the back. The crown is meant to be pushed in. It is not a cloche to pull down!! It just sits on top of your
