I think the front was opened a bit but I love it that plunged so left it - it would be easy to tack together if you wanted a more modest look

You can see that use of bead work here with the circular detailing at the front with a myriad of shapes and colored paillettes used to highlight the design

The back has a vented pleat to accommodate a bustle but is so well executed that it still falls properly without one

This leaves the front unbroken and allows you to cinch or loosen as you please

True circle skirts from the fifties are not the easiest thing to find anymore and this one is a beauty

Made of hand set and shaped peacock feathers that have then been painted by hand. It sits Julius Ceasar like and the feathers are attached to a wrapped wire.
