It was made under the creative direction of Yves Saint Laurent. The dress would have been made completely by hand in the Paris atelier. The reference photo we found is of a version with a different sleeved, more covered bodice but has that same long front trailing panel down the front. The dress has a very Old Hollywood 1940s feel that I love. This is an era that Yves often touched
